Violation: Cut 42 olive trees.

Sunday morning, June 22th 2025, the Israeli occupation forces begun with ravaging works and uprooted olive trees with total area of 3 dunams adjacent to bypass road no.60 within ‘’ Wad Ali’’ area from Qaryut lands, as the occupation uprooted 42 olive trees for security purposes.
The affected lands belong to farmer Issa Saleem Mo’mar, who supports a family consisting of 7 members, 2 of them are females and 1 child within a family and his brother farmer Abdallah Issa Saleem Mo’amar, who supports a family consisting of 5 members, 3 of them are females and 2 children within a family.
The farmer Yousef Sadeq Haj Mohammad stated as follows:
‘’ We suffer from the attacks of settlers and the occupation on the lands of Qaryut village. The occupation ravaged vast areas from lands and uprooted several numbers of trees, noted, about 75% of the village’s lands were controlled by settlers, as the famers were prevented from accessing their lands then transferring it into a place for settlers.’’
What happened recently, such as uprooting trees it’s came for Israeli military order, noted that we didn’t receive any copy of it, as we shocked about the act of the occupation of uprooting olive trees and ravaging lands, noted the danger presents with closing vast areas in the area.
Qaryut village:
It’s noted that the residents of Qaryut village suffer from fearing and anxiety to their existence on the village because of the Israeli occupation practices included: confiscated lands to carried out colonial projects and establishing randomly colonial outposts on mountains, in addition to create colonial roads around the village, as the occupation intends to linking Israeli settlement with a one network, which means to confiscating more lands from citizens’ lands.
Qaryut village is 26 km away south of Nablus. It is one of the villages that are totally surrounded by settlements on its lands:’ Shillo’ settlement from the south on the lands of Khirbet Silon, one of the ancient khirab which contains several roman and Islamic ruins, such as Al Omari Mosque, an ancient mosque which built on the era of Omar ibn Al Khattab, Eili settlement from west which extend to mountains and hills that surrounding the village.
The third settlement is “ Heuoval Raheel” from southeast part, as take control over plain areas followed up to village, which is considered one of the most important agricultural areas to agriculture wheats, lentils, barley and vegetables.
The total area of the village is 8471 dunams, of which 394 dunams are the village’s built- up area.25% colonized by 3 settlement and surrounding by Talfit lands, Turmus'ayya, Jaloud Al Lubban Al Sharqieh villages. The village is famous with agriculture and the most important crops are Grapes, olives and peach in addition to vegetables and legumes.
About Qaryut:
Qaryut is 20 km south of Nablus and 28 km away from Ramallah. It is one of the villages that are totally surrounded by colonies and outposts. The village populates 2321people on a total land area of 8471 dunums, of which 312dunums are the village's built-up area. Qaryut has a total population of 2,560 people until 2017 census.
The Israeli occupation 1332 dunums from Qaryut village for the favor of the following colonies:
Shilo colony: it was built in 1978 on 799 confiscated dunums from Silon lands. Now, the colony has a total built-up area of 1347.
Eli colony: it was built in 1984 on 553 confiscated dunums. Now, the colony has a total built-up area of 3360 dunums.
