Violation: Burning an agricultural building and stealing a donkey.

Location: Khirbet Abu Flah village/ northeast of Ramallah.

Perpetrator: Colonial outpost located on al Dahrat area- Turmus'ayya.

Affected party: Farmer Housam Qassam Awwad Al Khateeb.

Wednesday evening, May,7^th 2025, Marj Sia’a located northeast of Khirbet Abu Falah village witnessed a new attack by settlers who lived in a colonial outpost located on Al Dahrat area that followed up Turmus’ayya town.

A group of settlers around 10 pm raided an agricultural building located on the outskirts of the village, particularly on 700 meters away from citizens’ homes, as they setting fire in the building by using Material with spread firing, causing completely burned to furniture and agricultural tools and four solar cells inside it.

The targeted building made of bricks and concrete, with total area of 100 m²  , belongs to farmer Housam Qassam Awwad Al Khateeb, one of the residents in Khirbet Abu Falah village, as he is single.

As the attack includes burning about 50 kash that were put around the building, in addition to settlers stealing a donkey nearby the location, as transferred to colonial outpost.

The affected farmer told LRC researcher as follows:

‘’ I was near to agricultural building and I used to be there daily, I noticed around 10 pm the existence of settlers near an agricultural building, some of them starting to setting fire after they broken the windows. I immediately told the residents of the village by what ‘supp groups, as they coming in the location in 15 minutes, then the settlers leaving the area when they saw them. The fire burned all the building that I was prepared it for maraging in this summer and staying in it. The losses amounted no less than 45000 shekels.’’

It's worth mentioning that this attack came coincide with a previous attack carried out by same settlers. The attack included: cutting and vandalizing trees and agricultural saplings I the same location and just 300 meters away from the targeted building, causing serve damaging to trees and saplings. 

Khirbet Abu Falah:

Khirbet Abu Falah is located north east of Ramallah, as of 2020, the population of Khirbet Abu Falah, was 4200 residents.

The town has a total area of 8254 dunams, of which 750 dunams are designated as the built-up area of the village, and classified as state land as follows:

Area B: 8219 dunams.

Area C: 28 dunams.
